Saltline terms of use

Last updated 3 October 2026. Operated by [Your name or business name], ABN [your ABN], Queensland, Australia.

Conditions are indicative only

Forecasts, ratings, buoy readings, tide times, fishing "hot spots" and bar crossing information are estimates from models and third-party data. They can be wrong or out of date. Saltline is not a safety or navigation tool. Always check official sources (Bureau of Meteorology warnings, Marine Rescue, Maritime Safety Queensland, Transport for NSW), observe conditions yourself, and make your own decisions about entering the water or crossing a bar. Fishing spot positions are approximate. Follow bag, size and closure rules.

Your account and posts

You're responsible for what you post. Don't post anything unlawful, abusive, hateful, sexual, misleading or that invades someone's privacy, and only post photos you have the right to share. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules. Use Report and Block in the app to flag problems; we review reports promptly.

You keep ownership of your photos and posts, and give us permission to store and show them to the audience you choose, only to run Saltline.

Manage or cancel it in your store account. Free trials convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends. Refunds are handled by the store under its policies and the Australian Consumer Law.

We may change, suspend or stop features (including data sources such as radar and cams that depend on third parties).

Liability

To the extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law), Saltline is provided "as is" and we are not liable for loss or injury arising from reliance on its information.
